Day 18

A hug from her baby for Hilarys first mothers day.
Wow oh Wow. That is all I have to say right now, when I get my thought process back ill let y'all know.
So first thing this morning and I do mean first thing cause it happened at 2:00 AM pour baby he never gets to sleep. Any ways they pulled baby Haydens PIC line from his arm so he no longer has any IV fluids running YEAH!!!!!!!!!!! Also I just found out that my Baby boy is a major flirt. this baby knows how to get attention, he will sit all calm and peaceful while the nurses are working on him, but as soon as they leave to work on another baby he will either slow his breathing or his heart rate so that one of the alarms go off and they have to check on him, then he acts all better. He is so strong he will grab a hold of his feeding tube and turn his head trying to pull it out. according to the nurses he has pulled it out six times already. Like I said he just wants attention. he is eating about 19 mls. every three hours, and he now weighs 2 lbs. 4 oz. 2 LBS. 4 OZ. We love this baby and we love all the work that God has done in his life. Hilary was telling me the other day that before she got pregnant with Hayden she told God " if you give us a baby we will dedicate his life back to you for your will". This baby is such a blessing and we hope that God has answered her prayer and that his life has blessed your life as much as it has ours. we love to hear your encouragement and your prayers. thank you from the bottom of our hearts THANK YOU.

Tim, Hilary and Hayden.

  2. You are sooooo right! Children are a blessing from God, they are HIS for us to care for, but still His. That is really a blessing because there is only so much we can do for our children, the rest must be entrusted to the LORD. I was teaching the teens in Sunday School this morning and gave the example of Moses mother, she had to entrust Moses to God when she put the basket in the river, then she was blessed with being the one who cared for him for the Pharoah's daughter, whom the Lord gave compassion to raise this Israelite baby. Then when the child was about 2 or 3 had to entrust him to the Lord again as she had to release the care to the Pharaoh's daughter to be raised by the 'wicked.' God worked through it all and had special plans for that little boy. He got to free the Israelites, cross the Red Sea on dry land, receive the Ten Commandments written by God's own finger, and saw the back of God pass by from the protection of the God's own hand shielding him from all but a small portion of His glory. God's glory is too much for us to withstand this side of heaven and I never completely understood that. I understand a little more now as I see God reveal Himself in more and more ways that 'blow my mind!' This little Hayden is one of them. Hilary, your entrusting this little one to God from the beginning will be a blessing and God will honor your continuous relinquishing of your son to HIM. Continuous prayers for all of you and for God's glory to keep radiating through this difficult, precious time. Love you all.
